An Overview

For over 20 years Josepha Nalewabau has been working and living off of Nukubalavu where his father used to live and work. And since 2007, the next generation of Nalewabau’s have decided to join Josefa in Fiji to build a resort on the family land, and in the process, lead a simpler, yet more adventurous lifestyle. Mai Dive Astrolabe Reef Resort is the result.

Our place is better described as a friendly guest house rather than your typical resort. We prefer the relaxed feel and simple lifestyle that compliments this remote, undeveloped part of Fiji.

It’s a place for people that don’t need to be entertained because they enjoy a simple uncluttered way of being.
